VIP Electrical Conduit Bend is a precision-engineered 90-degree fitting manufactured by VIP Extrusions, designed to smoothly redirect electrical conduit runs at corners and direction changes. The HMS (Heavy Mechanical Stress) grade construction provides superior impact resistance, making it ideal for high-traffic areas and demanding installations where durability is critical.
Hand-crafted from VIP conduits to ensure perfect color matching with your conduit system, these bends feature FRLS properties for enhanced fire safety. The lightweight design and smooth internal surface facilitate easy cable pulling while maintaining full protection for your electrical wiring. Being non-metallic and non-corrosive, these bends offer long-lasting performance without rust or degradation.

Recommended Applications
Corner Transitions: Redirecting conduit runs at wall corners and ceiling-to-wall junctions
Industrial Installations: Heavy-duty HMS grade ideal for factories, warehouses, and high-traffic areas
Commercial Buildings: Office spaces, retail stores requiring durable and fire-safe electrical fittings
Residential Wiring: Concealed and surface conduit installations in homes and apartments
Renovation Projects: Upgrading existing electrical systems with proper directional changes
Multi-Story Buildings: Vertical-to-horizontal conduit transitions in high-rise structures
Installation Guidelines
Plan Bend Locations: Minimize the number of bends in a conduit run (maximum 4 bends per run recommended for easy cable pulling)
Prepare Conduit Ends: Cut conduit pipes square and clean; deburr edges to prevent cable damage during installation
Apply Solvent Cement: Use VIP PVC solvent on both the conduit end and bend socket; insert firmly and hold for 15-30 seconds
Align Properly: Ensure bend orientation is correct before solvent sets; adjust immediately if needed
Allow Curing Time: Wait 24 hours before pulling cables through the bend to ensure strong, leak-proof joints
