The pull-type diverter button automatically resets to the default outlet when water is turned off, preventing the next user from being caught by an unexpected overhead shower.

Installation Notes

Important – Read Before Installation

In-wall valve must be installed first: The Jaquar ALD-079N concealed body must be plumbed into the wall, pressure-tested, and tiling completed before fitting this exposed kit

Shut off water supply: Close the main bathroom isolation valves before starting the trim installation

Remove the tile guard: Unclip and remove the plastic protection shield from the pre-installed ALD-079N valve body

Mount the wall flange: Slide the designer wall flange over the internal cartridge sleeve with rubber gaskets seated flush and tight against the finished tile surface

Fit the lever handle: Press firmly onto the cartridge spindle, tighten with the Allen key via the underside grub screw, and push in the hot/cold indicator plug

Attach the diverter button: Thread the automatic return diverter button assembly onto the diverter rod until snug

Test: Open water supply, test full hot to cold lever travel, and pull the diverter button to verify clean, leak-free switching between outlets
