The Jaquar Aquamax Concealed Body Series provides the in-wall brass valve foundation for high-performance built-in shower systems. Designed to sit flush within a wall recess, the concealed body keeps all plumbing hidden behind tiles for a clean, uncluttered shower aesthetic. Available in three configurations: a 2-way thermostatic body (ALD-681N) for two-outlet setups, a 3-way thermostatic body (ALD-683N) for three-outlet setups, and a 3-way single lever body (ALD-783N) for manual temperature control across three outlets. All three operate from as low as 0.2 Bar, making a booster pump optional in most residential setups.
The thermostatic variants use an advanced polymer cartridge that automatically maintains the pre-set water temperature regardless of pressure fluctuations elsewhere in the building – preventing accidental scalding. The polymer construction resists limescale accumulation in hard water areas. The single lever variant (ALD-783N) uses a solid brass spindle rated to 10.5 lakh (1,050,000) ON/OFF cycles for long-term mechanical reliability. All models include integrated backflow protection. The outer trim kit is sold separately.

Installation and System Notes
Important – Read Before Installation
Wall cavity depth: Excavate a cavity allowing 63mm (Min) to 83mm (Max) installation depth from the finished tile surface
Keep protective caps on: Leave the factory-supplied plastic caps on the brass body throughout masonry, plastering, and tiling to block debris from entering the valve
Pipeline flushing: Flush all hot and cold supply lines clear of sand, welding slag, and joint tape before connecting to the valve body
Inline Y-strainer required: Install a dedicated inline Y-strainer filter on both hot and cold inputs upstream of the valve to protect the internal cartridges
Pre-tile pressure test: Pressure-test all joints at 16 Bar before plastering and tiling – a leak found after tiling requires breaking the finished wall
Hot-cold orientation: Hot supply must connect to the left inlet and cold to the right. Reversed connections prevent correct thermostatic regulation
Pipe sizing: Use minimum 3/4″ BSP (20mm) supply lines for the primary hot and cold feeds
Exposed Parts Kit required: Purchase a compatible Jaquar Aquamax Exposed Parts Kit separately to complete the installation
