Fevicol Nail Free Ultra is a premium 1-part, high-grab moisture-cure adhesive-sealant engineered to replace nails and screws in construction and interior fitout applications – eliminating the drilling, noise, and surface damage of mechanical fixing while delivering a stronger, more durable bond for heavy materials. It is formulated to react with atmospheric moisture to create a high-strength bond that is UV-resistant, weatherproof, and permanently elastic – the adhesive does not shrink after curing and continues to flex with the movement of the bonded materials, making it particularly suitable for materials that expand and contract with temperature changes such as stone, glass, metal, and composite panels. At a post-cure capacity of 18-20 kg per sq. ft., it is rated for heavy applications including large wall mirrors, marble and granite cladding, stone shelves, and thick composite panel systems that cannot be adequately supported by standard construction adhesives.
The formula is silver-mirror safe – it does not corrode or dissolve the metallic backing of mirrors, which is a common failure point with standard solvent-based adhesives used on mirrors. It works on both dry and damp surfaces, and can be applied in wet conditions including underwater – making it suitable for bathroom and kitchen splash zone applications where conventional adhesives fail due to moisture exposure. The product comes in a 435g cartridge format and must be dispensed using a standard manual caulking gun, which is not included and must be purchased separately. A single cartridge covers approximately 21 sq. ft. when applied in the recommended zig-zag bead pattern. Skin forms within 15 minutes of application – allowing a 6-minute adjustment window after pressing the bonded surfaces together – and full cure is achieved at a rate of 2mm per 24 hours.
Key Features
High-Grab Instant Hold – 18-20 kg per sq. ft.: Post-cure capacity supports heavy stone, glass, and composite panel loads that standard construction adhesives cannot handle – rated for large mirrors, granite cladding, and stone shelves without mechanical fixings.
Permanently Elastic – No Shrinkage: The cured adhesive remains flexible and does not shrink – absorbs the expansion and contraction of bonded materials through temperature cycles without cracking or debonding, ensuring a long-term bond on materials that move.
Silver-Mirror Safe Formula: Specifically formulated not to corrode or dissolve the metallic backing of mirrors – the most common failure mode of solvent-based adhesives on mirror installations.
Works on Damp Surfaces and Underwater: Moisture-cure formula is not inhibited by wet conditions – can be applied to damp substrates, in high-humidity environments, and directly underwater, making it suitable for bathroom and kitchen installations.
UV-Resistant and Weatherproof: Cured bond resists UV degradation and weathering – suitable for exterior cladding, facade panels, and outdoor applications where conventional adhesives chalk, crack, or lose adhesion over time.

Application Guidelines
Step-by-Step Application
Surface preparation: Ensure the bonding surface is clean and free of oil and grease – the adhesive works on damp surfaces but will not bond correctly to oily or greasy substrates. Remove any loose material, dust, or prior adhesive residue.
Gun loading: Cut the cartridge tip at 45 degrees to the desired bead size, screw on the nozzle, and load the cartridge into a standard manual caulking gun.
Application: Apply the adhesive in vertical zig-zag beads across the back of the item to be bonded – leave 1-inch gaps between beads to allow air and moisture flow, which is required for the moisture-cure reaction.
Positioning: Press the item firmly into the wall or substrate surface. You have a 6-minute window to adjust the alignment after contact – reposition within this window and then hold firmly in final position.
Curing: Allow a minimum of 24 hours for full cure. Use temporary mechanical supports (tape, props, or wedges) for very heavy items during the curing period to prevent the item from sliding before full bond strength is reached.
Recommended Applications
Where Fevicol Nail Free Ultra fits best
Heavy Cladding – Marble, Granite, and Stone: Bonding stone wall panels and cladding tiles without drilling into walls – the 18-20 kg per sq. ft. rating supports full-thickness stone panels on masonry, concrete, and drywall substrates.
Mirror Fixing: Safe for all mirror types including silver-backed mirrors where solvent adhesives cause backing corrosion – provides a strong, lasting bond without the need for mirror clips or visible fixings on the wall.
Kitchen and Bathroom Installations: Fixing bathroom fixtures, kitchen backsplash tiles, and splash zone panels in high-moisture environments where the damp-surface and waterproof performance of the adhesive is an advantage over conventional products.
Wood and Composite Panel Bonding: Bonding plywood, MDF, and ACP (aluminium composite panel) sheets to metal frames and wall substrates – suitable for interior fitout and facade panel work.
Specialty Repairs: Sealing and bonding in wet or underwater conditions – suitable for leak repairs, pool surrounds, and submerged applications where conventional adhesives cannot be applied or will not cure.
