Application Guidelines
Step-by-Step Application
Surface preparation: Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and free from loose dust, grease, and flaking paint. Sand the surface smooth and apply an interior wall primer and putty coat for best results – skip primer and putty only on very smooth, sound surfaces.
First coat: Apply the thinned distemper evenly using a good quality brush or roller. Work in one direction for a uniform finish. Allow to dry for 3-4 hours before applying the second coat.
Second coat: Apply the second coat after the recoating window has passed. Two coats are required to achieve the specified coverage and finish quality.
Use thinned paint within 24 hours: Do not store thinned distemper – mix only the quantity needed for the day’s work and discard any unused thinned material.
