One of the key advantages of Araldite Standard Epoxy Adhesive is its extended pot life of approximately 45–50 minutes, which provides sufficient working time for accurate positioning, alignment, and assembly of bonded components before the adhesive begins to set. For optimal performance, all bonding surfaces should be clean, dry, and properly roughened to improve adhesion. Remove any dust, grease, oil, rust, paint, or contaminants prior to application. Equal parts of the resin and hardener should be mixed thoroughly until a uniform consistency and color are achieved. The mixed adhesive should then be applied evenly to one or both surfaces within the available pot life period. After joining the components, the bonded parts should be clamped, supported, or held firmly in position during the initial setting phase to ensure proper contact and alignment. Allow approximately 24 hours for complete curing before exposing the bonded assembly to heavy loads, operational stress, or service conditions to achieve maximum bonding strength and structural durability.
